So according to a new survey, Facebook can definitely take its toll on relationships.
The survey by Stop Procrastinating found …
- 17% were jealous of their partner’s Facebook relationships.
- 26% felt neglected because their partner spent too much time on Facebook.
- 44% said Facebook ruined romantic moments like dinner or walks because their significant other felt the need to post about it.
- 32% said they felt a loss of intimacy in the bedroom because their partner checked FB in bed.
- 22% said Facebook made cheating easier because they could keep in touch with people they had met casually
- 17% said they had been tempted to get in touch with an ex on Facebook.
- 46% said they’ve checked a partner’s Facebook activity because of jealousy.
- 47% said they had been guilty of emotional cheating on Facebook.
- 67% of people cited Facebook in their divorce proceedings.
Moral of the story people put less attention to your social media and more attention to your other half,
