Hello SandyDanger and DJ Ewrek, so my 16-year-old son has his first serious girlfriend who is the same age. They seem to be “madly in love” and want to spend every hour of the day with each other. This is fine, to a degree, I also just found out that they are both sexually active with each other. I am a little upset because I told my husband about it… and what did he say: “Ok I will talk to him” cool right? Noooo! His talk he had with our son was “Be safe…don’t make me and your mom grandparents.”, a HI five with a “that a boy”…. Now I am upset he is encouraging him. He thinks he did nothing wrong. I feel he needed to say you’re too young for this kinda relationship but instead he got a “that a boy”… he would never say that to our daughters. Please tell me, am I right or wrong for being upset. Should that convo went different between them? Anybody ever had this happen or maybe going through it? My husband thinks nothing else needed to be said.
