So my man and I have been together for 15 years we have 3 kids together ages 3-13. We have a good life, good jobs , own our house an so on. I even helped my boyfriend grow his business. There is only one thing that has bothered me… he says I am the only one he wants to spend the rest of his life with and that he loves me and he does show it, but he will not marry me. He says he doesn’t believe in it. He says it’s a piece of paper and that his parent never married and they are fine. Is this true to people out there you all really believe marriage is just a piece a paper? Because it mean so much more to me! I hate it when people ask how long we been married or hey say “your husband” and in the back of my head I am like I’d love for him to really be my husband, but we’re NOT married. He isn’t my husband. If somebody says your the one & spent 15 years and basically live a married life already why would you not make it official? Your thought would be appreciated.
