Freida is an eager, energetic gray and white pit bull terrier, about 10 months old. She learns quickly and is eager to please. She knows how to sit and shake. She loves to run in the play yard at the shelter, and loves going hiking in the hills with her trainer. She would do well in a family that can give her plenty of exercise. She will reward them with a wagging tail and lots of love.

Stop by the Santa Maria Animal Center at 548 W. Foster Road in Santa Maria to spend some time getting to know Freida.
Staff or volunteers can get her into a play area with you so you can see how friendly she is.
Adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
