I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years now and he has been pretty good to me for the most part. We have been living together for about a year and a now and everything has gone pretty smoothly so far. Except for one thing, a few weeks ago he mentions that he bought a ticket to some music festival that he is going to with two other friends…. I was excited for him because he doesn’t go out much and we talked about it. Later that night, I’m scrolling through Facebook and see the date of the festival, which is the day of my birthday. I brought it up with him and he laughed it off, but I’m still hurt. He ruined my 21st birthday last year by being a drunk a-hole and now he’s ditching me this birthday.
