Good morning everyone! So I have a situation that has nothing to do with baby momma drama, or cheating or anything super scandalous. Although it is something that is taking a toll on my family. So I am a 37 and my husband is 44. We have 3 children.  They are all pre-teen. So my husband had a medical scare earlier this year. The doctors told him he need to change his diet, and lifestyle so he could live a healthy long life. Well living on the Central Coast BBQ is huge. We used to BBQ at least 3 times a week ever since I could remember. Meat was always on the table, pretty much at every meal. We have slowly cut down until we eventually started going meatless. My husband and I are starting to get use to this new lifestyle, but our kids have not!! Whenever our relatives have BBQ’s our kids indulge in it and we allow them to have a small portion, since our household is meatless. They look forward to family & friend parties because of this. I know it is our fault since eating meat on a regular basis was a norm for them and this change hasn’t been easy to say the least. We have tried educating them on the benefits of going meatless and they still won’t embraces this way of life. My question is how can I have my kids on board with our meatless diet? I’ve tried different recipes and they don’t want them. Or should I allow them to consume meat once in a while. Please help this desperate mom with some advise. I just want a healthy but happy family. Thank you! (email your situation to: listeners@957thebeatfm.com)
