Ohhh my goshhhhh! Central Coast help me! My boyfriend and me always fight about this and we just don’t know what the middle ground is. So I’m 32 and my boyfriend is 24. Yes there’s a bit of an age difference, but for the most part it’s not an issue. We have a lot of the same interests but there’s one thing we don’t have in common. I love, and will always love dancing! I feel free, I just feel like is a fun way to express yourself, not to mention the cardio benefits it has and I’m really good at it too! It’s in my blood. Everyone in my family is very festive and blessed with rhythm. lol So naturally I LOVE going out dancing! It’s my definition of fun! When my boyfriend and I started dating we would go out dancing, and he would just do it because he knew that was the way to my heart. He actually hates dancing. We’ve been together for 2 years and now every time we go out he refuses to dance with me. That’s fine, I don’t need him for that. I am totally okay with dancing with my girls or I make friends wherever I go and I’ll just dance in a group with them, or even by myself, I don’t care. Well, he gets furious whenever we go anywhere and I go dance. He says it doesn’t look right, and it’s disrespectful that I leave to go dance. I obviously prefer to dance with him, but if he doesn’t want to why should I stop myself from having fun? I’m not cheating or dancing with strange men. I don’t even look forward to going to any kind of event that has music if he’s coming with me because we always end up leaving early since he gets mad. Is there any couples in this situation? How did you solve it? I am in love with him but this whole dancing thing is a constant fight! Is this something that is just going to complicate our relationship even more?
