I’ve been holding on to this for a while and I finally got the guts to write this and send it in to y’all. So I am a 41 year old woman and I think I am falling in love with one of my good friend’s son. Me and my friend have been friends since high school. We are best friends that talk every day but we do reach out to each other on birthdays and holidays and once in a while we do meet up for coffee. So I’ve been divorced for 3 years and I started a new job at the beginning of the year. I work at a warehouse and one of coworkers that I am closest to is my friend’s son. He is 26 and we get along great! I never planed on me falling for him but the attraction is there. He has asked me to dinner and drinks and I have said no every time. He’s told me he has developed feelings for me too. He broke up with his girlfriend when he realized he liked me. We do flirt a lot and I know he’s into me. I haven’t taken this relationship further than a friendship out of respect towards my friend. I really would like to give this a shot but I don’t know how to approach my friend or how she would take it. I don’t think she will be to happy about it plus I’m risking losing her friendship. Although I am older than him, he is a grown man with a good head on his shoulders. Should I just put an end to this little romance or should I pursue it and talk to my friend. It’s killing me! Help!
