Situation: “Is there a certain age you should stop dressing a certain way?”

Hey guys so I’m a 41 year old guy. I’m a single dad of a teenage girl. I work construction. Well a lot of the guys at work give me a hard time because they ask me when am I going to dress my age. I take pride in my appearance and taking care of myself. I consider myself a fit guy, a gym regular and I like keeping up with my wardrobe and style. Mind you, the ones who judge me are all in their late 30’s or mid 40’s. I like to wear my hat backwards, wear cool sneakers and they tell me I need to let that go and grow up. I am a responsible man and father. I literally see nothing wrong with the way I dress. Just because I am a dad, and in my 40’s doesn’t mean I need to turn into a basic dad bod, new balance, work boot wearing boring guy. I don’t think my maturity level should be determined by my wardrobe. So my question is, is there a certain age you should stop dressing a certain way because you are too old? This goes for ladies and dudes?  (email your situation to listeners@957thebeatfm.com)
