Hey guys I want to see if there is anything I can do to save my relationship? So a couple of weeks ago I went to a kick back with my girlfriend. On the way out we noticed there were a couple of girls from the party and a guy outside who you could tell had been drinking. This guy was trying to hit on them and trying to get them to go to his house. You could tell by their reaction they were very uncomfortable and trying to find a way out. So my girlfriend said to go and help them out. I ended up going over to them and asked them if they were ok. I told them to come with me and my girlfriend if they felt uncomfortable. That’s when this guy got aggressive and asked me who I was and to mind my own business. This ended in an altercation where, not gonna lie, I kinda got beat up trying to do the right thing. I’m not a small guy but this dude was like 6’3 and I’m like 5’11 and still got hurt. The girls ended up getting away but now the problem is with my girl. Ever since this happened my girl has grown distant from me. She also said that this whole thing had her second guessing our relationship because she says she doesn’t know if she can feel safe with me after me getting beat up like that! like wtf man she is the one who told me to stand up for those girls!
