So it was brought to my attention and have been critizised by some family and friends that I am a helicopter mom. I have a 11 and 8 year old and they say I coddle them too much. I went online to see what helicpter mom means and I have no issue with being one. I’m a single mom and if I dont look out for them then who will? They say that I am too cautious with sports, when they get hurt, amongst other things. They also tell me that im affecting their emotional growth and I am leaving them vulnerable to bullies at school.
