Dear Danger and Loui my situation is that I don’t know how to deal with my teenager. I have a 14 year old boy and a 6 year old boy. I am a single mom and this last year was when I started to notice changes. We spend a lot of time at home because of covid. School for them, work for me. I’ve tried to plan some fun outings with the boys an my teenager is always in a bad mood or isn’t phased by anywhere we go or anything we do. If it were up to him he’d stay in his room all day playing online with his friends. It’s important he gets out and that we spend time together as a family but no matter what I try he’s not into it, and I don’t enjoy our time as much knowing he has this bad attitude basically obligated to participate. How can I get closer to my teen? How do I get him to want to be more engaged with us as a family.
