Good morning guys! I’m having a baby soon. Well this girl I got pregnant is having the baby. My question is since she’s the mom does she get to pick our son’s name? We have gotten into many disputes over this. I’m 20 and she is 19. This our 1st baby, we had been hooking up but weren’t in a relationship and she got pregnant. I want him to be Jr. I want him to have my name. She says I have no say since she’s the one giving birth. Does anyone have any insight on if that’s true? Who gets to name the baby? I hate that we’re starting off this way. We are both stubborn. But I want to know what I can do, what my rights are as the father of the baby. Does he at least get my last name?
