I looked at my checking account on Tuesday and noticed $700 was missing. I asked my husband if he knew where the money went because it is a joint account. He said he did. He said he withdrew $700 to buy a new TV and a few other things. He took the money because it’s half of my $1,400 stimulus check that I haven’t used yet and was saving. We got into a fight because the money is mine, not his. He disagrees and says the money is also his because it’s a joint checking account and we split our cash 50/50. In theory, he is right. I believe the entire stimulus check is mine, not his. Who do you side with? Is he right?
