Hey guys so I wanted to see what your thoughts were on this. So I am a manager in training and my boss told me he wants me to fire an employee. the thing is this particular person didn’t do anything wrong and is always on time. This guy never calls in and heck he even does more than he has to. My manager tells me that this is so I can learn how to do things that are hard sometimes like letting go of people because of budget cuts. I don’t see this as a good way to teach someone how to be a manager. I don’t know if I can fire someone who doesn’t deserve it. What should I do?
