Every summer since we graduated, a group of friends and I go to a different beach for a week. It’s about time that we would start planning the trip, so I reached out to my BFF to nail down the dates. She said she wasn’t sure anyone was up for the trip this year. I shrugged it off at first, but was talking to one of the other friends and she told me they were planning a couples’ trip to Vegas instead. I don’t know why my BFF would lie to me, as if I wasn’t going to find out about their plans eventually. Now I don’t know how to handle this. Do I shrug it off or confront her about it?
