Hey guys I’m a longtime fan and wanted to bounce something off of you this morning to let me know if I’m in the wrong here. So long story short, I have a very lazy 15-year-old son who has no plans for the summer. All he wants to do is play video games and swim in the pool all day and I’m not having it. So, I got him a job at a deli around the block from us and he starts on July first. Now I haven’t told him about the job yet because I know it’s just going to be a huge fight, especially when he finds out he has to be there by 8 am every morning. He needs to earn his own money and stop bumming off of me for everything. A part of me feels bad I’m laying this all on him and a part of me is thrilled I’m doing it. So I guess I’m asking if you think I’m in the wrong for getting him a job without telling him?
