So let me ask you a question, is money really a good excuse to not get engaged? My boyfriend of 3 years tells me we are not engaged because he has too much debt and can’t afford a ring or a wedding right now. But I don’t care about money. I don’t need a big expensive ring or an elaborate wedding, which by the way I told him my parents, would pay for. But he still won’t propose. Is he just making excuses and never plans on proposing to me, or am I being selfish and should just be patient. I’m 25 years old and don’t want to waste too much more time if this isn’t going to happen.
