Good morning and glad to hear Situation 805 is back! I would always listen during my commute from Lompoc to Arroyo Grande. Well here’s my situation, I live with my boyfriend and he has shared custody of his 2 boys. Since the quarantine started we have them every other week, not just the weekends. I love having the boys over, they are both very sweet and my boyfriend and I will be welcoming our first baby in October, but here’s the thing… the house we live in belongs to my brother who is an essential worker driving trucks transporting goods.
Well my brother works with my boyfriend’s baby momma who for the most part we have no drama with except for one thing. My brother knows all the office gossip since she works at the main office. So we are supposed to be quarantine at home practicing social distancing right?… but according to my brother my boyfriend’s baby momma has been having people over the days she doesn’t have the kids. One of her friends had or has the virus and had stayed with her the week we had the kids. She never told us until my brother told us about it. My boyfriend called her and confirmed, but she said it was very mild and she didn’t see why she needed to share it with us.
We currently have the kids and my boyfriend doesn’t want them going back until she gets tested and makes sure she is negative. She keeps saying it’s not a big deal and that we better return her kids. She even threatened me through facebook since I was the one to bring these concerns up with my boyfriend. Plus since it’s my brother’s house he has been very cautious staying safe and doesn’t want the kids to come back if she does have the virus, because it can expose all of us.
