A retired lawyer ended up behind bars in Florida by threatening to perform a citizen’s arrest on a stripper , because she repeatedly refused to break the law by sleeping with him for cash. John L. Ciardi had paid $100 for a “private dance” with the female dancer, then handed her another $200 and requested unspecified services that he told cops were of a sexual nature. When the dancer informed the Massachusetts resident that he was out of line with his request, Ciardi demanded a refund but was told to leave the Living Dolls club.A manager called cops after Ciardi threatened physical harm and destruction of the club’s property. But when officers arrived on the scene, Ciardi demanded they arrest the dancer, then said he’d arrest her himself if he had to. Records show that Ciardi was disbarred in Utah in 2014.
