A Los Angeles-area man will soon be testing the scales of justice when he appears in court to answer charges of making criminal threats,after throwing his 13-foot python at employees inside a popular sushi restaurant.
The man, whose name was not released, had already took down $200 worth sushi at a place called Iroha Sushi of Tokyo and gone back out to his car, where he decided to impress some kids by whipping out his snake and showing it off in the parking lot. When the kids urged him to head back inside to get a bigger audience, he agreed, but was stopped at the door by a manager.After none of the workers took the bait when he challenged them to a fight, the guy tossed the Python in the direction of the sushi bar, prompting customers to scatter. The snake briefly got stuck, but was freed by animal control, according to a waitress “Everyone’s like eating so customers are yelling, ‘Get this thing out! Are you crazy?’ He was like starting fights with the customers so we had to call the police and fire department.”
