Every guy has a list of relationship turn-ons – and an even longer list of turn-offs. But Cosmo’s editors have come to the conclusion that there are certain things that every guy in the world really hates.
So if you’re trying to make sure you don’t send your significant other running for the door, steer clear of these major turn-offs:
Faking it … very, very obviously. If he can’t tell, no problem. But if he knows you’re faking and you’re selling like a used car salesman, his passion is going to go down the drain.
Talking in a baby voice. Generally speaking, don’t spend all your time talking in a voice three octaves above your regular one. Especially not during sex – dirty talk in that tone is just plain creepy.
Sending tons of selfies. Do they contain a fair bit of cleavage? Well, all right, then. Are they 27 separate selfies of you with your Starbucks cup? Put down the phone and back away slowly.
Trying to be “quirky.” Remember, people are only quirky in movies. In real life, trying to be your town’s answer to Zooey Deschanel is just weird and off-putting.
Acting dumb for attention. Stupid is not another word for sexy. Drop this immediately, because you’re so much hotter just being you.
