A high school graduation in Augusta, Kansas was spoiled Sunday when a gun accidentally went off, injuring two people. Now According to reports, a man who attended the Augusta High School ceremony was packing a gun in his sock. During the ceremony, he reached into his sock to adjust the weapon and it went off. The bullet not only hit the gun owner, but ricocheted and hit a 28-year-old woman who was seated nearby. Both were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.Despite the incident, the graduation continued as scheduled.Since it’s against the law to carry a gun on school grounds, police in Augusta are expected to bring the case to the district attorney on Monday.
