The story of Last night’s MTV Video Music Awards is one we’ve all gotten used to, Beyonce stole the show winning eight of the 11 awards she was nominated for and putting on a mind-blowing performance.
Beyonce’s performance had pretty much everything you’d expect an art-film intro, futuristic costumes, interpretive dance, fire and everything you can dream of.
Rihanna, who was given this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, got the most face time on the nearly three-hour telecast from New York’s Madison Square Garden, appearing like 17 times…. technically four separate times. lol It was the Rihanna show!
*and last but not least Kanye West paid tribute to himself lol in a rambling monologue that referenced Amber Rose, Taylor Swift and Chicago’s crime rate — before comparing himself to Henry Ford and Walt Disney. He then premiered the video for “Fade,” which consisted of three minutes of a woman with the most beautiful body I’ve seen. I’m going to the gym.
