My Buddy’s Fiancée Broke Up with Him a Week Before Their Wedding . . . Because of Pre-Marital Counseling?
I just got engaged, and my future wife thinks it’s a good idea for us to get pre-marital counseling . . . just so we can be prepared for any ups and downs.
The thing is, a LOT comes out in at these things, and I personally know that it can be a bad idea to go to these.
A GOOD friend of mine was in premarital counseling with his fiancée. He’s a great guy, but the more stuff that came out . . . the less into him she became.
Long story short, they were supposed to get married in Mexico, and she called the wedding off the WEEK before. He was devastated, but at least I got a vacation to Mexico without having to go to a wedding.
Should my fiancée and I still go through with pre-marital counseling? Has anyone else ever ended a relationship because of it?
