My Boyfriend Still Has His Wedding Pictures With His Ex
I have been dating this guy for a couple of months and I went to dinner at his place for the first time last week. I was seriously shocked when I walked in and saw framed photos from his wedding in his living room. Most of them were family photos of him and his parents and his groomsmen, but one of them was of the entire bridal party, including his ex-wife! He has told me that his ex’s family and his family are still friends, and his divorce was amicable. I guess I didn’t realize that their lives were still so intertwined.
I realize I haven’t been dating him that long, but I’m not sure how to feel about it. I understand if he wants to keep the photos of his wedding – I have pictures of my exes – but should they be on display in frames?! Is this a red flag? Should I bring it up to him or is it too early in our relationship? Please help! I am feeling really uneasy about it.
