PHONE PROPOSAL
My boyfriend Martin and I have been together for two years. We live in separate states but have been discussing me leaving my job and apartment and moving in with him.
Well, he proposed last night … over the phone!
You can imagine my shock (and horror). I was totally insulted that he thought this kind of proposal was appropriate since he does live in another state but able to drive here to the central coast in about 5hr. I was So disappointed that I actually started crying and telling him how upset I was.
He said he thought it sounded romantic and he’s sorry that he screwed it up.
Now I feel bad for hurting his feelings, but come on! Proposing over the phone??
What do you think of this? Was i wrong for this now the proposal isn’t special anymore if he does it again???
