GIRL/BOYFRIEND
I’ve been best friends with Monica since college, and we have a really great friendship … except for one thing. I have a boyfriend and she doesn’t – and because of this, she ends up treating me like I’m her boyfriend and I hate it.
For instance, she kept hinting that I was supposed to send flowers to her office on her birthday and if I don’t call her back the same day she calls me, I get an earful about how I don’t care about her feelings.
I’m at the point where I might have to cut her loose, which would be sad, but I don’t know what else to do.
How should I deal with this??
