Central Coast I am writing in because I really need your help with something I’m going through. I have been happily married for more then 10 years, we have a great home, jobs, money, loving family, kids…everything! So here goes my situation… for the longest time my friends and family would always kinda joke around about my daughter not looking anything like me. To be honest I noticed it too, but I never said anything, but their jokes started to get to me. I know they were just playing and giving me a hard time because that’s just the way we get along, but like I said it did start to play with my head.
So I did something and now I don’t know if I was prepared to find this out. No joke, I did a paternity DNA and I got the test result back. I did it without my wife knowing in regards to my kid, and come to find out that my daughter is not mine.
Dude, I just broke down as soon as I got the test back! I am completely devastated because I love my little girl and my wife, but there are about a million emotions going on in my head right now. I’m not going to lie… I am sooo mad, and feel so much resentment towards my wife. She doesn’t know I did this, but she has noticed that something is wrong, and yes I’ve been acting distant with her. I’ve even been sleeping in the guest room since I found out. I am planning on confronting her about this. I just don’t know how to do it with out it affecting my daughter. This is so stressful, this is NOT the only child we have together, and I don’t know what to do because everything was good with us and our family up until this point. I figured this probably happened during a break up we had in our marriage like 6 years ago. Do I stay or go??? Regardless that little girl will for ever be my daughter.
