Hey Sandy and DJ Ewrek so I have been seeing this guy for 3 months now. We have fun, we get along with each other well and he has been nothing but wonderful to me. There is only one thing… it’s not necessarily a deal breaker for me, but it is something that is odd for me and my friends. He never pays for my meals. I am not exaggerating. I mean NEVER!!! Not even a simple bottle of water or a bag of popcorn at the movies. He did pay for our first date meal…BUT that was almost four months ago. It’s getting expensive going out with him because we are always out, always eating out. He pays for his stuff and I pay for mine. We both have decent jobs, I’m capable of buying my own meals, but at the same time, I have it in my head that a man should want to buy his woman’s dinner. Maybe not all the time, but definitely offer once in a while. Again I say, that has not happened since our first date. He has never offered since then. It’s now starting to bother me, this has even made hanging out with my friends and there boyfriends weird because my girls’ boyfriends always pick up there check for food or drinks. I want to talk to him about it, but at the same time, I want him to offer to pay for stuff because he wants to, not because I called him out on it. What should I do? Keep quiet or say something?
