So I been dating my girlfriend for about 2 years now and so far we get along great and have to much fun together. There is one thing that i can’t stand and becoming a issue her Dad! Why you ask? Well he is super over the top protective of her, and I get it, it’s your daughter. But after 2 years you are still going sideways at me come on!!! Well the other day, finally I couldn’t take any more. Every time I come around him he is always consistently reminding me that if I don’t treat his daughter right I am gonna have to see him!!!! Well I finally had enough and said to him… “dude why are always telling me that if you don’t like me then say it! Don’t beat around the bush with it! And if you wanna see me then see me now or when ever you want! I am not afraid of you.” Well long story short, it got a little heated and I ended getting kicked out of the house because her dad says I disrespected him. How?! If he is always the aggressor with his little threats. And now my girl says I need to be the bigger person and apologize to her dad if I want our relationship to continue because her dad will not let it go on. I really do love this girl a lot and we both have invested a lot time in our relationship, but I don’t feel like i need to bow down anymore to her dad. What should I do?
