Hi SandyDanger and Dj Ewrek, wanted to share my situation I have going on right now and I know i am not the only one that’s going or gone through this….. So I have smoked weed since I was 18. I’m 30 now. My fiance has always known this about me. Three months ago he proposed to me. I said yes because I love him very much. The following day he said “I hope you know when we get married, I want you to quit smoking weed”. He went on to say that he has never liked my weed smoking. He thought maybe it would be a phase but no it wasn’t . He tells me that when we get married “ Party time” is over. He thinks weed is immature. My fiance is a health nut and has never smoked or drank. We got into a huge fight the other night over all this. He told me that if I still want to smoke weed, he’s not marrying me. I have maintained the same career for over 12 years, I pay my bills on time, and I’m very responsible with everything including money. I don’t really drink. What is he even talking about with all this “party time” talk. There’s other actual benefits to using Marijuana besides recreational use. I have finally realized that it’s between the man I love and weed. What do I pick? Am I being a selfish pothead if I pick weed or is my fiance being an unreasonable A-hole?
