So here goes my situation my girlfriend and I have been dating for 1 year now and not gonna lie it has been amazing, we love each other a lot. However, there is one thing I am having a problem with my girlfriend has never posted pictures of us on social media…. I have posted pictures of us but she has never done the same, and when I do post them she tells me to delete them because she doesn’t like how she looks. I finally asked her about what is her issue with pictures of me and her together on social media, she said to me she doesn’t want to post pictures of us because she doesn’t want other people to know about her personal life like who her boyfriend is, and only wants her friends and family to know. I get it but then she posts pictures of her and her friends all the time doing things.
Is she embarrassed of me?… or she doesn’t want other guys to know that she has a boyfriend? She’s a really pretty girl and guys are always letting her know that. She doesn’t pay them any attention but I can’t help but feel some type of way. Am I being insecure about this or if it’s a red flag? Or am I over reacting because technically the only ones that really do matter and know about us are our people close to us: friends and family and I shouldn’t sweat the social media stuff.
