Well lets start by saying thank you for sharing this with the Central Coast. My fiance and I are expecting a baby girl and we are having some what of a issue with the name my fiance wants to name her. He would like to name her the same thing as one of his ex’s who he spent a few years with and never really got over I think! When I ask him why that name, he said it was his great grandmothers name and he wanted to honor her which is weird …one because he has never mention his great grandmother in the 4 years we have dated, and he isn’t even close to that side of his family! I think it’s a lovely name, but I’m a little weirded out by the fact that this is his ex-girlfriend’s name as well, and I low key feel like he still has some feeling for her. So I called him on it and he said I was tripping and looking too deep into it. I told him I feel like we need to look for another name but he says no he is sticking to that and wont change his mind. Am I looking too deep into this because I refuse to name our daughter this particular name? How can we compromise cause I refuse to agree on that name?
