I Have been in my relationship for over 10 years we have 1 child together and things have always just been OK. We both have gotten comfortable with each other. When I really think about it, it’s more of a functional relationship than one based on passion and fulfillment. We don’t hate each other, but we are not running home after work to see each other. I know for a fact he will never ask me to marry him, he doesn’t believe in that. Not only that, but he’s always lived with his parents and I live at home with my parents. I have asked him if he ever sees us moving out and his response is no because he doesn’t pay rent at his parents house….. basically he is just chillin’ waiting at home until his parents pass away so he can get the house. Plus he has been at the same mediocre job for over 10 years making mediocre money. I just don’t see any drive or future in the relationship. What should you do if you’re in a committed relationship that isn’t bad it’s just okay and will probably always just be okay, but you end up meeting someone who has everything together and is truly interested in being with you and seeing you happy?
