Hey guys. So I’m writing in to hopefully get some advice on how to solve this! So I just move back to Santa Maria after graduating from college. I went to Chico State. I met my girlfriend there. We’ve been dating for 7 months. Our relationship has been long distance for a little over a month now. She came to Santa Maria for the 1st time to visit me this past weekend. Everything was fine up until we went out to a local bar. A lot of people know me, I mean when you come from a small town like this you’re gonna know a lot of people. Well my chick was taken back on how many people kept coming up to me to say hi. She kept calling me Mr. Popular! lol We’ll after the bar we were driving back to my place and my chick happened to find a lip gloss inside my car. She got so mad and accused me of cheating. Truth be told, I’ve been faithful. I was just as surprised as her to find that dumb lip gloss in my car. My girl got so mad she ended up taking off that same night. I called my sister and I told her what happened. I come to find out it’s actually my sister’s lip gloss. I immediately called my girl and told her. She didn’t believe me at 1st. I had my sister call her and tell her. She eventually ended up driving back to my house. My sister & I were there waiting for her. My sister even put it on in front of her to prove it was hers. She ended up believing me and apologizing for flipping out. After this incident I felt a little hurt that she doubted me. So my question is, is this normal for girls to freak out like this? Should I just brush it off? Is this a red flag? Did she act like this because maybe she’s the one cheating? My sister says I need to drop it and move on but all of these questions are now bugging me.
