So I was recently promoted to a managerial position at a well-known company in the area. Last week, a female employee filed a harassment claim against a male co-worker. She was wearing her new Fitbit when he asked if she had completed all 10,000 of her steps for the day. She told me that she was insulted by the comment because he was insinuating that she is overweight and unattractive. Do you think the comment is harrassment? I’m a new manager and not sure what to do. What do you think?
