Good morning guys! wanted to get your opinion on something if you have a few minutes this morning. So I just grounded my 16-year-old son for the rest of the summer after finding out he was fired from his job and has been pretending to go to work but instead has been playing video games at his friend’s house. I only found out when another mom whose son worked with my son told me what happened. He apparently showed up to work drunk and when they told him to go home he refused. So now I know he was drinking under age and being completely disrespectful to adults. I told him he couldn’t leave the house and socialize with friends for the rest of the summer and possibly into the school year. My husband was on board with the punishment but I’m wondering if I went too far? Do you think my punishment was to harsh for my son’s crime?
