Hi Guys, I’ll get right into it. My wife has known since the early days of our relationship when we were just dating that I wanted kids. More than that, she knows that I don’t want to be an old dad. My father was in his late 50s when I was born, and he always lacked the energy to play with me when I was a kid. I also lament not having had more time with him when he was alive – and that was because he had me late in life. My wife and I have always been on the same page about this – until recently. I just turned 30 and have already waited longer than I wanted to. Whenever I’ve brought this up she always has a reason for waiting a few more months….“Let’s save some more money,” “Let’s wait until I have a job with better maternity leave.” Now I found out by accident that she’s secretly made an appointment with a doctor to discuss freezing her eggs. Obviously, I feel terrible that she would take this step behind my back. But it also shows she has no intention of having children anytime soon. Honestly, if she’s being deceptive about something so fundamental, I’m not sure we should even be married. What should I do?
