Hey guys I need to know how many legal problems I might have after what happened over the weekend. The house next door was recently sold, and the new neighbors finally showed themselves…along with their tiny toy poodle dog. Unfortunately, the dog wandered into my property, and my pound hounds were out. We have an invisible fence, but the poodle was too far into the property…and my dog snatched up theirs in his mouth. Fortunately, I was able to get there in time to put a stop to it, but the poor poodle was shaken up, along with the new neighbors and their kids. My dogs aren’t good around other dogs, or rabbits, moles, or squirrels…but there’s never been an issue around people. They’re actually quite gentle. Still, it’s not a good first impression with the new neighbors, and I can’t help but think there could be trouble ahead. Anyone have any thoughts on what I should prepare for…worst case?
