Hello good morning, My ex and I have been split for about three years. Toward the end of our relationship, we disagreed about a lot, but we always saw eye-to-eye on how we wanted our kids raised. We expect our kids to be well-mannered and focused on improving themselves. About a year ago, my ex started dating a new guy and he recently moved in with her. We share custody, so our children live with this man every other week. He and I get along fine, but he has some bad habits and a toxic point of view that I’m afraid is starting to rub off on my children, especially my 10-year-old son. For one, he uses some language that’s inappropriate for kids, as well as some antiquated beliefs about relationships and he’s been giving advice to my son about how to woo a woman. Up until now, all I’ve done is try to straighten out my son on the incorrect information he’s being given, but I think now I need to have a talk with my ex-wife’s BF. This is a delicate matter and I need to know how I should approach this with him. Got any advice?
