The other day I was walking by my neighbor’s house, four doors down, she stopped me and my dog and asked us not to walk by her house anymore, suggesting we walk the other direction. She said her dog barks inside her house when we walk by because her dog doesn’t like my dog. How would you respond? I said, “Seriously, you’re telling me where to walk?” And then just walked away. She started babbling about how this is a community and we should care about her wishes. Meanwhile, her dog is inside at the front window going crazy. WWYD here? Do I forget it? Go back and say something? For context, her dog has been off-leash and charged us twice in the last year, our dog is always leashed. And she didn’t apologize either time. Help.
