Hi guys thanks for reading my situation. Man oh man did I messed up!! So my wife and I separated (not divorced) in March of this year. I started dating another woman about a month later. We moved in together and in the summer she asked me if I would help her out with her 2 boy’s Christmas. I gladly told her I would pay for half. It’s a PS5 and an ipad. That was back in August. A month ago I lost my job and I have been really tight on money. I moved into my parents house until I can be on my own again. On top of all my other responsibilities my truck now needs so many repairs. Here’s the thing. I have 4 boys and now I don’t even have money to buy my own kids presents. My ex asked me to at least pay half. I explained to her my financial hardships, as a man, I am embarrassed to even admit it. She said no worries, she would still tell the boys they gifts are from both of us. I feel horrible!! My 14 year old overheard his mom and I talking and found out that I helped pay for my currently lady’s kids gifts and now he has resentment towards me. Help!
