Hi guys so check it out. Back in May my girl and I made plans to go to Cancun. My dad lives out there and I hadn’t seen him in a while. She’s currently not employed since she’s going to school. I didn’t mind paying for the trip, she’s my girlfriend! We’ve been so excited about this trip ever since we booked it. So something unfortunate happened once we got to the airport. When we were checking in at the air port, the lady realized my girl’s passport had expired over a year ago and informed us she wasn’t going to be able to fly. We both could not believe it! How did this happen. How did we miss this? We both were sooooo bummed! She cried but there was nothing we could do. So at that point we had to make a decision. I told her I was going to board and go on the trip. It was all non refundable and I haven’t seen my dad in a few years so I felt like I still had to go. She sadly drove my car back home. I just got back on Sunday. She was supposed to pick me up at LAX but my brother picked me up instead. She’s trying to guilt trip me even though it was her fault she couldn’t go, but I worked hard to pay for the trip and I just couldn’t let it go. Plus I was with my dad most of the time. Did I do wrong? What would have you done in my place?
