Hi guys I don’t know how to handle this situation!! Help! My husband didn’t grow up with his siblings so they only really see each other during holidays and special occasions.Well his eldest sister came to stay with us during Christmas for a few days. And they are actually going to stay with us again the last weekend of January. Here’s the thing, she has 2 children, one is 8 years old who is an absolute sweetheart! Her other child is 2years old and he is a cutie but he is a brat!! I get it kids at that age are very curious and still learning. I just cannot stand that his parents do not correct him or watch him whenever he’s doing something he’s not suppose to. For example he would start opening the presents under our xmas tree, jump on our couches with dirty shoes on, play with a bouncy ball inside the living room…things like that. I love my inlaws but I cannot stand that they don’t watch the baby! I’ll say something and everyone says he’s fine and ignores what he’s doing! I am very uneasy with it. I’ve tried many different ways to speak up but nothing works unless I’m the one watching the baby, but he isn’t my responsibility! Help what else can I do?
