Father & Teen denied winning his $5M on a scratcher!

Bad choice ended up costing a California family $5 million. Ward Thomas says he and his son stopped at a store. The father let his 16-year-old son run into the store to get five new $20 scratch-offs and 1 of the few scratch-offs was a $5 million winner! Ward quickly completed the paperwork to retrieve his cash prize. He got word from the California Lottery Commission that his winning claim was denied because his under age son bought the winning ticket.

Man I would be so upset with myself if this happened to me!
