Hello Miss Danger & DJ Ewrek. I always listen you guys every morning by the way. Ok, so my girl and I are planning our wedding. Her family wanted to be involved in the planning & I said cool, but now little by little they are seemingly taking over everything. I am getting a little annoyed about it and brought it up to my fiance. She got a little upset and is siding with her family, saying that they’re just trying to help. That’s fine but she has to run things by me first before just letting her family decide what is gonna happen at our wedding. For example her parents think it’s ok to invite all these people that are friends with them. I want this to be a adult only event: no young kids so we could enjoy our day and not worry about little kids running around all over the place because the parents aren’t watching them. Her parents said that that’s not fair to their side of the family so she decide to scrap that with out my ok. When I called her out on it she said that wouldn’t be fair and lame. So I pointed out that the fact this is our wedding… not her parents’, or my parents’ wedding and ALSO I’m paying for the wedding not her family. She and I should get to say where, who, and what happens at our wedding. Am I the only one that thinks like this or maybe somebody else went through this too? How do I make my girl see thing from from my point of view.
