I’ve lived with my GIRLFRIEND for a few years now and recently she has gotten very comfortable which I suppose is a good thing. However, I feel like I’m becoming less attracted to her because of it. I find well manicured hands attractive and it seems like my GF clearly doesn’t care about that. Never gets manicures or her nails done. Ok fine, not a huge deal but her hands are always dried out and almost scaly. When she touches me without having recently moisturized her hands it kinda makes me cringe. I’ve thought about buying her trips to the nail salon as a gift so maybe that would help. She also use the the bathroom in front of me with the door open even when she drop a “deuce”. There is another issue for me though is she eats dinner with her hands, no matter what we are eating. Rice, chicken, fish, salad, etc., not really “finger food”. It kinda grosses me out but I haven’t said anything because I don’t want to hurt her feelings. Obviously I don’t care about pizza or other normal finger food but when she’s scooping curry rice in her hand it just bothers me.She did struggled with a eating disorders in the past so I know food is a delicate topic so I leave it alone and also it’s a culture thing she is from a small town in South Africa. I guess it’s the germaphobe in me that finds this as a huge turn off. I wash my hands after basically touching anything. I also guess I just appreciate normal table manners?
