My Boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over 2 years. We’re both in our mid 20’s and I am so upset with what he did to me this last weekend. I think it’s the the last straw for me!!! I’ve put up with him playing video games with his friend on-line all the time and even has canceled our plans because he is in the middle of a game. On Friday he knew my mom was recuperating from surgery and we were suppose to take dinner to my parents house and hang out with them a little. He came home from work Friday all excited and said he couldn’t go because his friend bought 6 tickets to see Avengers Infinity War that night and he had to see it with them. I told him why can’t he go on Saturday or Sunday when we had no plans. He told me he didn’t want to miss seeing it with his friends because they had seen most of the movies together since they where 17. Long story short he decided to go even though I was mad. I was so embarrassed to tell my parents that he didn’t come because he had to see a superhero movie with his friends. My dad already thinks he is immature and this didn’t help because he also said how old is this guy again you need to find a man who act like a man not like a little teenager. So I went online and found all the movie spoilers and not only did I text him the ending right when he was heading into the theater, I also text his friends the ending too!! After the movie he was so mad at me. I haven’t talked to him since Friday night. He’s trying to turn this around on me when he’s the one who blew me off. My best friend said I should be mad, but her husband said what I did was equally as bad. I don’t get that at all. Please tell me if I was wrong for that. I think he deserved it, and I think I should dump him. Like, at what point do guys grow up and stop making playing video games and hanging with friends a priority?
