Foodgod 24 Karat wings, coated with the precious metal, debut Tuesday at two Manhattan locations of The Ainsworth. The deluxe dish is the result of a collaboration between The Ainsworth and Jonathan Cheban — who has appeared on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and now calls himself Foodgod.
Introducing 24 Karat Wings, a golden delicacy set to become a permanent menu item at locations across the city (and country) starting on May 1st. They’re as extra as you’d expect, soaking in a coconut butter, chipotle, and honey batter for 24-hours and then dusted with real gold flakes – served with a side of bleu cheese for good measure.
Orders of 10 will be available for $30, 20 for $60, and, if you’re in it for the ultimate Insta, 50 come with a bottle of Champagne Armand de Brignac for $1000. Because you know you’ll need some sips with those #EEEEEATS.
They debut this Tuesday at The Ainsworth East Village and The Ainsworth Chelsea, so get your stomach (and phone camera) ready.
